Julie Pascoe Designs

Julie Pascoe

Julie met her husband, Philip, in Australia where he had been apprenticed to Leonard French, the artist who created the famous ceiling in the Melbourne Cultural Centre and windows for the National Library in Canberra.

Phillip's love of the medium grew and in 1972 he and Julie moved to Escondido, California, where they established Genesis Glass Studio and opened their first studio. Their early works were done mostly in faceted glass, also known as Dalle De Verre.

Since starting out in glass design, Julie has always had one goal–working with her clients to create the most appropriate and beautiful work to enhance the environment where it is placed.

Over the years, she's had the privilege of working with amazing people and being part of some truly wonderful projects. She enjoys challenges and achieving unique effects and adding elements such as casting in metal or glass and painting, or metal leafing when appropriate.
